Background
Gwen Ansah Smith founded Pivot57 after nearly three decades in global investment, across developed and emerging markets — on both the manager side and the allocator side.
She served as Managing Director and Head of Africa at Invesco, invested in emerging markets private equity at AIG Capital Partners, and worked in investment banking at Deutsche Bank.
On the allocator side, she served as Deputy CFO of the City of Atlanta and CFO of Invest Atlanta. She holds a Master’s in International Affairs from the University of Ghana and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
